What awaits you?

• In this role, you will design, build and industrialise production-ready AI and GenAI solutions across different business domains.
• Moreover, you will take technical ownership for selected AI initiatives, from problem framing and architecture to implementation, evaluation and deployment into production.
• At the same time, you will work in dynamic cross-functional teams, applying your AI engineering expertise to different enterprise use cases, processes and data environments.
• You will build scalable AI systems, including model integration, orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, monitoring, guardrails and deployment.
• Furthermore, you will challenge existing solution approaches and bring external cutting-edge AI engineering expertise into the organisation.
• You will also define reusable engineering patterns, technical standards and best practices for AI solutions.
• In addition, you will support less experienced engineers through technical guidance, code reviews and hands-on enablement.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on Python skills.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in building and industrialising AI, GenAI or ML-based systems in production or production-like environments.
• Strong understanding of modern AI system design, including LLM integration, orchestration, RAG, evaluation, monitoring, APIs and deployment.
• Practical experience with cloud-based engineering environments, preferably AWS or Azure, including CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to take technical ownership in ambiguous situations and translate complex business problems into scalable AI solutions.
• Willingness and proven ability to work across changing domains, teams and use cases rather than focusing on one fixed product area.
