What you will do:

• Act as the main point of contact for PostgreSQL topics within the Database Services team;
• Define and improve best-practice configurations for PostgreSQL environments on Azure;
• Operate, support, and optimize PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server solutions;
• Collaborate with Operations, Development, and Business teams to identify and resolve performance issues;
• Contribute to database improvements across the full software development lifecycle;
• Drive monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution processes to strengthen system stability and performance.

What you bring & who you are:

• Several years of experience managing PostgreSQL environments, ideally on Azure;
• Experience with database performance tuning, monitoring, and high-availability solutions;
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and ideally exposure to other database technologies such as Oracle;
• Familiarity with DevOps principles, automation tools, or scripting technologies such as PowerShell;
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative mindset;
• Fluent English skills; ideally, you also have a good level of Spanish.
