Responsibilities:

Next-generation NPU development begins in the hardware modelling platform, where new features are developed, designed, and architected while evaluating their performance. The role involves close collaboration with the ML hardware design and verification teams to contribute to product design, specification, and verification. It also includes collaborating with the compiler team to optimize hardware performance and supporting the hardware model for use in customer engagements. As a senior engineer, the position requires leading larger work packages, driving technical direction, and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Master’s or PhD degree in Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or similar technical field;
• Strong programming skills (C, C++, Python);
• Strong analytical skills, eagerness to find innovative solutions to complex problems;
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment where you cooperate closely in a diverse team of colleagues, together striving to fulfil common targets.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

• Experienced in HW design and/or modelling;
• Experienced in SystemC and HLS flows;
• Source control skills (Git, Gerrit, Repo);
• Experience with CI/CD;
• Worked and developed using methods like agile SW development, continuous integration and Test driven development;
• Experience with machine learning applications and frameworks;
• Sound understanding of signal processing, control system.
