Tech Lead (Java)

Tech Lead (Java)

Picnic Technologies

Amsterdam, Netherlands

In a nutshell

As Tech Lead you will be leading one of these teams and empower them to deliver high-quality, secure and performant solutions for the business we're building. Together with the Product Owner you will evaluate initiatives and drive roadmap discussions. You'll design and estimate technical solutions for the presented challenges together with your team.

You will be responsible for the delivery of projects and for developing the skills and strengths of the people working in your team. As a Tech Lead, you'll lead by example, not by title.

Tricks of the trade

• Shaping: As a Tech Lead in one of our domains, you'll work with stakeholders from tech and business to translate requirements into scalable and resilient solutions.
• Leadership: You help the team plan, prioritize and make the right trade-offs. Ensuring business goals are achieved while also realizing your long-term technical vision.
• Expertise: You're the go-to for your product domain – both for your own team and for others who want to build on what you own.
• Collaboration: You are able to communicate your views both when specifying new features with stakeholders and while providing technical mentorship to your colleagues.
• Mentorship: You invest in your people. Through real conversations, honest feedback, and hands-on coaching, you help them grow faster than they would anywhere else.
• Ownership: You build it - you run it - you love it. You own the health of your product and the support model behind it.
