We are expanding our Software Integration, Validation and Verification (IV&V) team for the Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) project to build an instrument data processing system.

WHAT CHALLENGE ARE YOU GOING TO FACE?

You will participate in the EUMETSAT project in Darmstadt (Germany) for a year and a half, after which you will have the possibility to work from our offices in Madrid.

In our team you will support the MTG team, and you will be able to give support in validation and verification activities, you will also perform tasks such as:

• Supporting the client in the characterisation and investigation of anomalies and in the use of systems developed by GMV;
• Support in the installation, deployment, integration and acceptance of new versions;
• Participate in V&V reviews and act as a communication bridge between the development and maintenance team and the client;
• Elaborate the technical documentation associated to the Verification and Validation (e.g. Test Cases, Test Procedures, Test Report, Verification Control Document, etc.).

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for engineering graduates with an interest in the world of testing and validation. We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:

• High level of English (C1);
• Experience in Software Integration, Validation and Acceptance processes (minimum 3 years of experience);
• Scripting and Linux (Python, shell, etc.);
• Applicable standards (ECSS, SLE, CCSDS, etc.);
• SW development tools (jenkins, GIT, etc.).
