You will be responsible for team leadership and task coordination within the Ground Segment team in Poland. An international team full of talent and desire to innovate where you will perform tasks such as:

• Coordination in Poland activities related with satellite data processing;
• Coordination with other managers at the level of the group;
• Prioritization of the work to be performed by team members across projects related with satellite data processing;
• Economic control of the projects portfolio budget;
• Offers and proposal preparation;
• Definition of technological solutions;
• Customer and subcontractors management (meetings, follow-up, commercial activities etc.);
• Project risk control;
• Generation of projects documentation and reporting.

DO YOU WANT TO BE PART OF OUR TEAM?

If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following knowledge/experience:

• Master's Degree in Engineering (or science/technology);
• Knowledge and experience in space sector projects related with satellite data processing performed for ESA, EUMETSAT or other clients;
• At least 5 years of experience managing several projects and engineering contractors, supervising and monitoring projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and best overall value;
• Experience leading multiple weekly meetings with internal teams to follow-up the plan and status of the projects;
• Experience investigating technical details and leading problem resolution;
• Experience leading in critical path schedule items;
• Leadership;
• Team spirit approach and excellent communication skills;
• Conflict management and interpersonal skills;
• Anticipation, clear reporting;
• Customer orientation.

It is nice to have:

• Experience in commercial opportunities identiffication and offers preparation in space market;
• SW design and development. C/C++, Python, Linux;
• Continuous integration development environments (GIT, Jenkins, SonarQ);
• Knowledge of Readmine (or other project management tool).
