Generative AI Lead (Legacy Code Conversion)

In Brief:

We are seeking a highly skilled Generative AI specialist to lead our efforts in enhancing legacy code conversion capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, defining, and developing use cases for Generative AI within our existing framework. This role involves showcasing the feasibility and practicality of these use cases to optimize our code conversion processes.

What will your job look like?

Conduct comprehensive research on Generative AI applications in code conversion;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize use cases;
Define clear requirements and development goals for each use case;
Design and develop prototypes to demonstrate the effectiveness of Generative AI in automating code conversion and the transformation journey;
Evaluate and iterate on solutions to ensure they meet industry standards and company objectives;
Present findings and progress to stakeholders and executive teams.

All you need is...

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field;
Proven experience with AI and machine learning, particularly in generative models;
Strong background in software development with languages such as Python, Java and C#;
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Required Skills:

Strong communication and presentation skills;
Proficient in Python and experienced with Python scripts and libraries;
Proven experience with GenAI products and LLMs capabilities (e.g. OpenAI, LangChain);
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services, such as Azure, AWS and GCP;
Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes and IaC with Terraform.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, CICS, PL1) is highly desirable;
Experience with code conversion tools and methodologies;
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies;
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (specifically with GitLab CI/CD).
