Senior BI Developer

You will be working in a squad of BI Developers within the Data team, taking care of the full Data Product offered to various data consumers. The role will include work on new and existing BI dashboards and reports, extracting ad-hoc data sets, as well as offering support to the Data product.

A TASTER OF WHAT YOU WILL BE INVOLVED WITH:

Work on projects that require development of dashboards, static reporting, data modelling and scheduling automated data set workflows.
Select the best data visualization tool based on the characteristics of underlying data in order to illustrate statistical concepts that will guide decision-makers.
Work with a range of latest technologies including MS SQL, SSRS, QlikSense, Snowflake and Airflow.
Efficiently complete ad-hoc report requests from business stakeholders.
Support the Data product consumers requesting assistance via the Data Service Desk or via other channels.
Ensure the BI systems are regularly maintained to keep data flowing steadily.
Work together with the Technical Lead to discuss any recommendations for enhancing our architecture or tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and development teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.
Identify any manual tasks that have the potential for automation.
Investigate data issues and report findings to other development teams.

Technical:

Possess a degree in a relevant technical area.
At least 2 years experience in a similar role
Proficient knowledge in SQL is a must.
Experience in using reporting tools like SSRS or similar.
Experience in using visualisation tools like QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI or similar.
Have a strong understanding of data warehouse and ETL concepts.
