Mission

The content of the work will be aimed at analysis, design and SW development activities of applications in the avionics domain.

Key Accountabilities

The following technical skills are required:

• Knowledge and experience in object-oriented, multi-task and multi-threas programming;
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C++, ADA, Java);
• Knowledge of the Python language;
• Knowledge of basic communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, serial);
• Knowledge of the SW life cycle (requirements, design, coding, verification and testing);
• Knowledge of configuration management and code versioning tools (SVN, Git);
• Good written and spoken knowledge of the English language.

The following skills are considered preferential:

• Previous experience in SW development in the avionics domain;
• Experience in the analysis and definition of requirements (DOORS tool) and in design (with UML modeling);
• Knowledge of markup languages (XML, json);
• Knowledge and experience in using model-based design tools (e.g. Simulink, SCADE) with automatic code generation;
• Knowledge of relational databases;
• Knowledge of real-time programming for embedded systems with real-time operating systems (e.g. VxWorks, Integrity, PikeOS);
• Knowledge of avionics standards (RTCA DO-178C).

The profile is completed by:

• Ability to work in a team;
• Analysis and problem solving skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General.
