Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Manual Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

Definition of test plans and test cases;
Construction of test scenarios and scripts;
Execution of tests;
Test coordination;
Reporting of test results.

Requirements

University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with 11 years of relevant working experience in IT;
Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing;
Experience in the test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases;
Experience with defining and customize integration tests and identify open issues;
Experience with defining test plans and procedures for white and black box testing at the unit, module, system and integration levels;
Knowledge of testing technologies, tools and techniques;
Knowledge of a Test Management Tool;
Knowledge of a Defect Tracking tool;
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies;
Knowledge of development tools to increase test effectiveness;
Capability to write test cases and review existing test cases;
Excellent command of the English language.
