What does the HERE Data Strategy Implementation Team do?
- Create and maintain a standard tool to discover, search, query and analyze (spatial) data sets from multiple data providers;
- Create and maintain a meta-data management system that supports (spatial) data analytics, data governance and (spatial) data processing;
- Use ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) framework to transform data to be compliant with the standards using spatial, like FME, QGIS or ArcGIS, or non-spatial tools like python;
- Create and maintain automated AWS data pipeline solutions;
- Create visualization dashboards using business intelligence tools, like Tableau;
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements to optimize the automation of all work processes;
- Work with stakeholders, including other software & data engineering teams, product management and corporate functions, to assist with data-related issues.
Who are you?
- We expect from you a master’s degree in engineering, mathematics or GIS and 5+ years working experience;
- We need from you good (geospatial) analytical skills and strong problem-solving abilities;
- We hope you are excited to work in a global company and you are fluent in English;
- And below competencies are expected:
- Experience with Unix system administration;
- Strong AWS skills;
- Experience with Python;
- Ability to effectively manage AWS resources, such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.;
- Experience with following is a big plus: AWS Glue, Lake Formation;
- Experience with Cloud formation.
